Whoops, I kind of have been neglecting my site for a little while. Shall need to update The Quest section megaly. Heh. Still says we're halfway through. Oops. Oh well. Movings over to sister's site are beginning! Soon. I promise. And when that happens, I will expand my section of pictures greatly because Shireen and I are camera happy.
Meaning we went to the Ottawa Folk Festival today. (look not at the time on this. It lies... fine, so yesterday. Whatever.)
I posted a massive thing about it in my lj, so I'll keep it short here, because no one really needs to hear me blabber for 3 hours. Though if you would like to, give me a call. It'll be fun. :P Haha, I jest.
Anyway, it was a massively fun day today as we dragged many of our Quest buddies to see the Worms for the first time. Shireen and Hailey were majorly hilarious cause at one point I spotted Trevor and pointed it out and they both started squealing and screaming his name. I laughed. It's like girls when they see boy bands. I'm surprised they didn't pull out "Marry me, Trevor" signs. Embarassing.
Though they got back at me when I noticed Chris later on and fell off my chair. That was great. Way to be calm, Row. Heh.
First workshop they did was cool. We were loud and obnoxious near the front, of course. Though the Festival people were being tres confusing as we were in the "standing" section, and eventually were told to sit. Ummm, ok. And apparently we were too loud then. Heh, oh well.
Then we raced to the next stage and saw another really fun workshop. We had a short convo with Chris which ended with Kalan Porter talk.
To be blunt, we did not go to see Kalan Porter. We do not like Kalan Porter. We like Worms. Kalan Porter is not in our good books. No Kalan Porter.
ANYWAY, that aside, that workshop was a lot of fun too. Shireen and I had a blast heckling the host, bringing up some pretty crazy things. We are heckling fools. Yay.
And the DVD hast been delivered. Horrified or impressed, the Worms will see our movie. And hopefully it'll be the impressed one. Because we don't intend to horrify, it just might happen.
Random pics taken, which will be included in new pics when I get to it. There's a lot though. Seriously.
Main stage set that night was awesome as well. Though that's when the standing section became the standing section, so it became harder to see. Blast. Oh well. It's safe to say we were probably the loudest ones there. I have almost no voice now from screaming various things. Heh. Loudness is fun... until the aftermath that involves pain. :(
Anyway, it was a hella good time. And it sucks we won't be seeing them again til April. But hey, it's 4 days after my birthday (April 15th being the day they come, thus April 11th being my birthday. Keep that in mind! :D) so how can it go wrong? What more could y'want when you turn 18?
